WHAT TO EXPECT (DAY OF RESERVASTION)

Prepare for a seamless experience on your reservation day by having your Boaters License ready – a printed copy or a screenshot on your device is perfect!

 Operators born on or after Jan 1st, 1988, are required to obtain the mandatory Florida Temporary Boating License, valid for 90 days. 

For those born before January 1st, 1988, while not mandatory, having the Boating License is recommended. Feel free to reach out with any questions. Our goal is to make your experience both seamless and enjoyable.

Arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled reservation for on-time departure, often hitting the water even sooner.  Ensure your personal belongings are securely locked in your vehicle for a worry-free experience. We're here to make your adventure smooth and enjoyable. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

The Renter or Legal Guardian must acknowledge a full understanding of the liability release requirements to rent and operate Personal Watercraft (PWC) from Xtr3me Vortex, LLC. The Operator, Renter, or Legal Guardian agrees not to bring any legal action against Xtr3me Vortex, LLC, assuming sole and full responsibility for themselves, riders, and others encountered while using the equipment on the water. Additional details can be found in the Waiver and Release of Liability form & Equipment Liability Rental Agreement on the website. 

A valid government ID is required during the signing of all documents at the dock at the time of reservation. Rental is available for individuals aged 18 and above, while those aged 16 can operate with a Legal Guardian on the water.

Before venturing onto the water, operators are required to acknowledge their understanding and completion of the pre-ride checklists with a certified Xtr3me Vortex employee. This checklist, formulated by the State of Florida (FWC), guarantees a comprehensive understanding of safe machine operation, familiarity with the operating area, and awareness of safety protocols for emergencies on the water. 

Both Xtr3me Vortex and Operators are bound by Florida law to acknowledge and sign this checklist before engaging in any operation. Questions are encouraged throughout the pre-ride checklist process, and feel free to seek clarification at any point.

Once the Operator and Xtr3me Vortex complete the designated tasks at the dock, the remaining outstanding payment will be collected. We conveniently accept most major credit and debit cards, with Square as our primary payment service. Please note that the ID presented must match the major credit/debit card used for the remainder payment during the reservation. The deposit made on the website at the time of booking will be deducted from the outstanding amount during the reservation. It's important to be aware that Xtr3me Vortex, LLC reserves the right to cancel or refuse services at any time.

Safety is paramount! 

Xtr3me Vortex, LLC provides multiple USCG-approved PFDs at no charge during reservations. Sizes vary, so feel free to reach out with any size-related questions or concerns. Your safety is our priority.

For specific Personal Watercraft (PWC) safety, everyone must wear a USCG-approved PFD at all times. Ensure the PFD is properly fitted, secure, comfortable, and adjustable, tailored to the user's size and the intended water activity. It must be in good serviceable condition. Remember, the best life jacket is the one you wear consistently – life jackets save lives, so wear it!

Ensure you dress appropriately for the Florida sun and jet ski operation. Plan accordingly with best practices such as wearing water-resistant sunscreen. Keep in mind that space is limited on the jet skis, so consider using a waterproof backpack or phone pouch (recommended but not required and at your own risk). While we suggest having at least one person in the group carry a phone for emergencies, please note that everything you bring is your responsibility and at your own risk. Due to liability issues, our employees cannot handle or hold onto customers' belongings.

Remember to stay hydrated on the jet skis, considering limited space. We provide coolers that can be securely attached to the jet skis. While it's advisable to bring water, be aware that all belongings are at your own risk. Whether exploring restaurants or returning to your vehicle for refreshments, it's highly recommended to ensure water is on board at all times. Renters are responsible for any theft or damages to Xtr3me Vortex properties, so please avoid leaving equipment unattended.

Additionally, note that alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited throughout your entire rental period. Prioritize safety and responsible operation at all times for a enjoyable and secure experience.
